34 Weeks!

How cute is this!?!

How far along: 34 Weeks.
Baby is the size of a: Cantaloupe, which sounds amazing by the way!
Gender: Girl!
Weight gain: Because of a fun little stomach bug that went through the entire household this week I am down 3 pounds from last week but up 7 from pre-pregnancy.
Maternity clothes: I officially can't wear my non maternity clothes. I mean I can, but its not flattering.
Sleep: I have slept like a baby since I was sick.
Aches and PainsRestless leg syndrome a little but really not too bad!
Best moment this week: We closed on our house!
Worst moment this week: Packing, painting, moving, being sick!
Miss anything: I want a glass of wine. Moving would be so much easier if I could drink wine when we are finished for the night.
Movement: She is such a mover! I think she plays Dance Dance Revolution in there.
Cravings: I was craving salad, but since getting sick all I want is carbs!
Looking forward to: My little man is graduating Pre-Kindergarten today!  I can't wait to see him in his little cap and gown!

What a week! I have seen both of my doctors this week and both confirmed baby girl is looking good! They are estimating she weighs about 5.4lbs. They also both confirmed we are in the home stretch! How crazy is that? It won't be long before we have a baby!

Jon and I have been sneaking in fun things to do with River. We went to Gattiland on Sunday. River loved that since it was all playing video games and he doesn't get to do that often. He also loved that he got to watch Frozen on the big screen while he ate mac and cheese. He lost another tooth on Monday. I am loving his gap tooth grin! He has his Pre-K graduation, complete with cap and gown, tonight. Overall, this kid has had a really busy week! I can't wait for our 3 day weekend to pack, move, and hopefully sneak some pool time in, and celebrate Jon's 29th birthday!

Baby Shower

We are incredibly blessed! I can't believe the amount of time and effort everyone put into our baby shower. Our little girl is so loved already. My heart is overfilled with joy!

The decorations were gorgeous. My sister in law puts Martha Stewart to shame. She knew we were doing a pink and gold themed nursery and used those colors for shower. I left with so many nursery decorations. She made the tissue paper poms, a burlap banner, a tissue paper banner, the vases for the flowers, the flower arrangements, and the monogrammed sign with baby girls initials. She seriously went above and beyond. The other hostesses made tons of yummy food which I shouldn't have eaten, but totally did! They even managed to score pink hamburger baskets!

Can you believe all the pink? I still don't think I can get over the fact baby girl is a GIRL!

We got tons and tons of gifts. Adorable baby girl clothes and tons of diapers topped the list.

My Daddy and I. grandpa is so ready for another little girl to spoil! I really can't wait for Jon to get to experience the father-daughter relationship I shared with my Dad.

My mother in law made this adorable quilt!

My brother Brad and his wife Kourtnee. They hosted the shower at their house. They both are amazing! Between all the D.I.Y. projects Kourtnee tackled and Brad grilling burgers for tons of people they seriously did more than I could have ever asked for!

The rest of the hostesses, minus Nadja. These girls really made everything come together. I think they were just so excited that after 3 of us having 3 little boys we are finally getting a girl! Or they just really love me! I am so lucky and blessed to have such great friends!

Overall we had a blast. It was so much fun, the food was great, and we loved getting to spend time with our friends and families!

33 Weeks!

How far along: 33 Weeks.
Baby is the size of a: Pineapple.
Gender: Girl!
Weight gain: I am up 10lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight.
Maternity clothes: I bought a pair of maternity capri tights this week. I may not take them off until delivery!
Sleep: It really hasn't been that bad. I have been waking up way to early and am not able to fall back asleep but overall I don't feel horribly tired.
Aches and Pains: My lower back has been hurting. I take a warm bath every night and that helps so much!
Best moment this week: Our baby shower. We are so incredibly blessed!
Worst moment this weekI am still hating packing.
Miss anything: I miss my normal body.
Movement: This little girl moves like crazy. I don't know what I was thinking last week because I feel like as soon as I published the post she went crazy and hasn't stopped.
Cravings:My cravings are so random and I usually get my fix that day. Earlier this week it was kale and last night it was shrimp.
Looking forward to: We close on our house on Friday! I am so excited to finally get it over with!

This was such a great week and weekend. Our baby shower was amazing and I am going to write up a separate post for it. We are incredibly blessed with amazing friends and family! We have also been packing like crazy still. We are so excited to close on our house and get moved in.

32 Weeks

I don't have a picture of my bump to share this week. This was River eating his requested cheese sandwich for breakfast and Whispy watching one of our neighborhood bunnies hop around the yard. Usually when they are near one another River is tormenting her so to see them just hanging out together was a nice change.

How far along: 32 Weeks.
Baby is the size of a: Large jicama.
Gender: Girl!
Weight gain: My scale must have had a really off day last Monday because I am up 10lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight and I know I haven't gained 5lbs this week. Even though I did have a small cup of Amy's Ice Cream one day! It was delicious and if it packed on 5lbs I don't care because it was so worth it!
Maternity clothes: I had one of those nothing-fits days yesterday and it took me forever to find something I felt comfortable in so I stole one of Jons v-neck shirts and wore that. It fit and was comfortable!
Sleep: It really just depends on the night. I toss and turn a lot and rolling over isn't as easy as it used to be so every time I change positions I wake up.
Aches and Pains: My back has been hurting, my pelvic bone hurts, my abs are sore but I didn't have any Charley Horses this week!
Best moment this week: We finished priming the crib. Its only taken over a month and we still aren't finishd, but I am happy we are at least taking small baby steps.
Worst moment this week: Packing. I hate packing!
Miss anythingWell since today is Cinco De Mayo I am obviously missing a margarita. Even a margarita flavored snow cone would have sufficed.
Movement: I feel like she isn't moving around as crazily as she has been. She still moves a lot, I just think she doesn't have as much room to wiggle and squirm, which is actually kinda nice because I don't feel like she is ripping my insides apart!
Cravings: I have been wanting a soda so badly this week. Sodas and GD do not mix. At all. I had a few drinks of Jon's Mr. Pibb when we went to the movies on Saturday though and it didn't make my blood sugar go crazy and satisfied my craving.
Looking forward to: Our baby shower on Saturday. I can't wait to see all of our friends and family!

This last week flew by. We found out that we will be able to move into our house on May 16, the day we close! We are really happy about that but also way behind on packing now. It is so hard to pack when I know we are moving right around the corner. I did manage to pack 5 boxes over the weekend before we ran out of packing tape. I am honestly just ready to get it all over with. Its frustrating not to be able to lift any boxes. This move should be very interesting since I feel like in our past moves I have done all of the boxes and Jon and friends moved all of the furniture. I guess this time I can waddle around moving clothes and blankets! Just cross your fingers we can move quickly and efficiently and that it doesn't take us a month to move everything. Also, lets hope I get some kinda of miraculous nesting energy to power through this!

Water Balloons

What is the easiest way to become the coolest Mom on the block? Water balloons of course!

Last Sunday was so hot and if our neighborhood pool had been open we would have been swimming but its not set to open until today and so River and I made do with water balloons. He had a blast just throwing them on the ground because "he doesn't like to get wet". I have no idea where that decision came from since last Summer I could turn on the water house and he would literally play for hours. Each time he would throw one on the ground he would point and yell "oooh did you see that one?". It was hilarious watching how excited he got. It was also hilarious that all of the big water balloons were named Grandpa. I love that he is still small enough that little things can entertain him for hours. I have been soaking up the time with him before the baby gets here and we are all much busier. He loves it too. He is such a sweet little mamas boy.
